Con Mi Gente Foundation does one thing. We work to connect migrants with small business projects in Mexico. As these small business projects generate more income and as they employ more people, we generate a whole host of benefits for everyone:

• Families can remain united.
• Mexico can retain the very people it needs to build local economies.
• Fewer people will die along our the US Mexico Border.
• We reduce the political stresses US people experience due to immigration control.
• We get to the source of the immigration problem. No "fence" can ever control immigration.

It's a simple solution. But it requires ingredients difficult to assemble. And it requires patience.
